Fig 1. A Collection of Facts
This edition from Figura Publishing features 75 photographs from ten different models, including Brooke Lynne and Shasta Wonder. Most of the photographs will only ever be available in print, since the printed page captures a unique kind of beauty. Figura Publishing creates fine art photographic prints and publications. The name "Figura" was chosen for the company's moniker because one definition of the word is that it refers to a thing that represents or symbolizes a fact or an ideal. A fact and an ideal are two very different things, but all photographs can, in fact, represent both facts and ideals. In this case, there are facts of surfaces, shadows and skin and ideals of beauty, truth and passion. We like to think of this edition as a collection of facts rather than as a representation of any ideal. Tangible and touchable facts. Very beautiful facts.
