Here Is Your Country
“Here Is Your Country” chronicles my time spent at Olympic National Park in 2016. This National Park in Washington is a very special place, home to the quietest square inch in the U.S. in the Hoh Rainforest as well as a coastline that has remained untouched by resort homes and hotels. In a time when our country's unspoiled lands are being threatened by privatization, oil drilling, and even the possible destruction of the EPA, I felt that it was important to look back at this trip and shine a light on the beauty and pristine nature of our National Parks through the lens of conservation. These photographs serve as proof that our lands need to be protected.
